This is the tale of one old man who thought he knew all about the internet; but nearly found out to his wife’s cost just in time.
Recently my wife came home from work and over tea related her days activities. Mid afternoon boss who was working from home rang and said he had two potential new clients. one in Chalfont St Giles and the other in Berkhamsted, which he had arranged to visit one day next week and since didn’t drive could she find him a bus from the first to the second.
Wife says she could get him from Amersham to Chalfont St Giles and back to Amersham but couldn’t get him any further. Big mouth said there must be a bus to Berkhamsted and promptly gets on iPad and into Google search enter “Bus times for buses from Chalfont St Giles to Berkhamsted” as anyone would.
